Madison Maxey, PTA
Madison Maxey is from Virginia and was born and raised in Chesterfield County. She went to L.C. Bird High School, graduating in 2011. In 2015 she received her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, minoring in Biology and Phycology at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA. While in undergraduate school, she played varsity softball for the Shenandoah Hornets all four years. She then received her LPTA at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in Martinsburg, WV in 2017.
Madison recently moved back home from the Northern Virginia area with her husband and golden retriever, Huk. Madison found her interest in physical therapy at a young age, when her brother was in an unfortunate car accident suffering multiple injuries. During this time, she was able to take care of her brother and work aside the nursing and therapy units to see him progress everyday. Madison being an athlete also gave her an interest in how the body moves. She enjoys treating the entire body, but has a passion for the spine, joint replacements, and orthopedics. She is certified in IASTM to treat myofascial restrictions. In her spare time, Madison enjoys all outdoor activities, especially hiking, running, and skiing.
